Artist Statement

Using Adobe Illustrator, I created this Graphic Illustration to help me remember the first time I went on a hike in the wilds of Denali National Park in the Fall of 2017. Denali is known for having very little designated trails. Visitors are encouraged to make their own way, as the early discovers and nomadic peoples once did; off trail and surrounded by untouched tundra wilderness. ‰ÛÓ Laura Whitelock
