Shannon Anderson Most of my work centers on typography and hand-drawn type, incorporating quotes and words into images that help raise awareness of the most pressing social issues we face today. I believe art is a powerful way to gain the public's attention, which I hope can lead to discussion, action, and ultimately, change.

Artist Statement

Resist. This word applies to everyone that is being discriminated against by this administration. It applies to immigrant rights, LGBTQ rights and women's rights. It applies to the poor, to those who feel unequal, and to refugees. It has to do with our right to vote, our right to equal pay, and marriage equality. To resist is our collective right. To resist is part of our freedom. Resist what is corrupt. RESIST! - Shannon Anderson
