I am a Graphic Design student at the Art Institute of Orange County in Santa Ana, CA. This poster was a school assignment, but has been one of my favorites so far. I chose a park from my home state, Washington, that has a special place in my heart. I love the outdoors; hiking, camping, snowboarding and paddle boarding. I grew up on Bainbridge Island, Washington and every moment I spent outdoors Mount Rainier was in the background, standing tall and proud.

Artist Statement

I chose Mount Rainier National Park because I am originally from Seattle, WA and Mount Rainier is a prominent monument of the Seattle skyline. I love the outdoors, and wanted to idolize the mountain in my poster to promote others to visit the park. I did my poster entirely in Adobe Illustrator and I am very proud of the final product! ‰ÛÓ Callie Carver
